I specialise in housing and architecture, travel, place and cities with a focus on the possibilities of radical urban planning.​ My work has appeared in The Guardian, The Observer, The Times and Sunday Times, The House, Art UK and more.

I'm also an experienced broadcaster, having presented for ITV's This Morning and appeared as a guest on BBC shows including Countryfile and Debate Night. In my work as a commentator and chair for radio, TV and live events I've worked with BBC Scotland, Glasgow's Aye Write book festival and the Boswell book festival.
